Myhotel is part of the mini chain Chelsea‘myhotel’ which has three boutique hotels in Brighton, Bloomsbury and Chelsea. LondOntheInside checked in to check it out.
Myhotel Chelsea is located in an old Police Station, a ten minute walk from Kings Road. (This ultimately led to us spending a bomb, but that’s another story altogether!)
Outside the grand Victorian architecture looks impressive. Inside the hotel is clean, bright and modern. There is a spacious communal area with complimentary Internet, hot drinks, bottled water, homemade cakes and a selection of DVDs, books and magazines. This feels like snazzy apartment and is a great place to relax and start conversations with other guests. There is also a small gym but we skipped through it, we were there to chill.
The bright, modern design theme is continued in the rooms with flowery bed covers adding a homely touch. Our room was a Superior Double, which was very spacious with walk-in wardrobe (very impressive!), a huge comfy bed and a bathroom stocked with BeeKind products and robes. What more does a girl need?
Breakfast is served in mybar, an open plan dining area with a warm, relaxing atmosphere. We were greedy as usual and went for the full English Breakfast but there was also a wide selection of goodies on offer for The Continental option. OK, OK we sneaked a croissant, but like we said we are greedy!
After breakfast we headed back to our comfy bed but sadly it was time to leave…
Verdict: If your looking for a hip, boutique hotel we would certainly recommend myhotels whichever location you choose. The hotels have recently teamed up with the Hedonist’s Guide to offer guests insider tips for their stay, just another benefit of staying at here. With double rooms online starting from £140 the hotels not bad value either!
