of Dalston’s best kept secrets Merci Marie, has launched a Sunday brunch club serving up French and European style delights. Held on Dalston Rooftop which is transformed into a spacious, pretty dining space come Sunday arvo (none of the night time carnage!).

The Sunday Brunch sessions will be held all summer provide the sun is playing out. The  menu offers a small number of dishes, each equality tempting. The Avocado dream – avocado on toast with chilli and tomatoes is a light and refreshing dish with enough kick to give it a buzz. The winner for us though was the smoked haddock cake, poached egg and tartar sauce which was full of flavour and a decent portion too! So decent we couldn’t squeeze in any of the sweet treats. FAIL.

Merci Marie takes Dalston up a notch or two…up on the rooftop everything seems calm, clean and you’re in the hands of some very talented and passionate foodies.
