brains behind Les Trois Garcons and LoungeLover have added a new venue to their East London collection, Maison Trois Garcons. Half furniture shop, half cafe the laid back joint serves breakfast through to a light dinner, closing its doors at 7pm. Everything in the quirky shop is for sale, even the plates you eat from and cups you drink from.

We swung by one lunch time and were impressed by the selection of salads, a plate of colourful roasted and pickled veg mixed with various grains. Other highlights include the super tasty mushroom and Stilton quiche, sticky baked chicken with pineapple and juicy meatballs with mash.

To finish there’s a big selection of sweet treats, most of which are gluten free, these change daily but shouldn’t be eaten without sampling the teas which are specially blended for the laid back cafe. Defo one for a first date/parental outing!
