is the new Japanese restaurant in Marble Arch from Scott Hallsworth, the same chef who brought us the pop-up in West London that never popped down. The new restaurant is pretty big, with high shared tables, wooden booths and dim lighting it all feels very asian.

The menu is pretty big – there are two sides people so don’t make our mistake and find this out after you’ve nearly finished your food. Of the dishes we ordered, the BBQ Pork Belly in Steamed Buns with Spicy Peanut Soy sauce was our favourite.

Crunchy Baby Shrimp Tempura with Spicy Mayo and Warm Ponzu Dipping Sauces proved pretty addictive whilst Green Veg ‘Oshitashi’ with Pecorino Dashi and Sesame Ponzu Dip is worthy of an order if only for the punchy dip.

The Kombu Roasted Chilean Seabass with Spicy Shiso Ponzu was bursting with zesty flavours and Shell Crab Tempura Maki with Kimchee Mayo didn’t disappoint. You might wanna stick to the wines though as the cocktails proved a little watery.

If you’re in the hood swing by, it’s located on a pretty little street which is perfect for some post-lunch, pre-dins exploring.
