Xenia opened its doors back in May 2013, located way out west on the Cromwell Road. From the outside, the boutique hotel, looks that little bit more swish than the other hotels which line the road and it’s just a 10 minute walk to South Ken, the V&A and Natural History Museum and a little further to Hyde Park.

The hotel has just 98 rooms and the interiors have a modern, homely feel to them. We stayed in one of the Deluxe Rooms with a small terrace facing the street below, perfect for making use of the Nespresso machine, in-room magazines and samsung tablet whilst you relax in the sun. The rooms come with L’Occitane toiletries, King sized beds, rain showers, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, robes and free wifi.

Outside of the rooms there’s a small bar called the Living Wall which serves cocktails, a colourful Champagne Bar and a restaurant with floor to ceiling windows which serves Italian food with a healthy twist. There’s heart shaped chocolates at turn down – we likey – and breakfast consists of a huge buffet as well as hot dish options.

For a cosy, comfy staycation in West London Hotel Xenia is a great choice.
