REVIEW: HIX BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH
The menu features Hix’s most ordered breakfast dish, Albemarle smoked salmon ‘Hix cure’ with scrambled Burford Brown eggs. Though we started off with the refreshing Wye Valley asparagus, pennywort and shaved Caerphilly salad, excellently presented with subtle flavours warming us up for what was to come. Starting light means you can go full throttle for mains, and that we did with the rich Wiltshire ham and Montgomery’s Cheddar toastie and Moyallon sugar-pit rib of beef with spring slaw and champonzu.
And then there’s dessert, we’d recommend the Peruvian gold chocolate mousse and more champers, of course! Bottomless, means bottomless so keep ’em coming. The HIX Mayfair Bottomless Brunch is available every Saturday from 12noon – 3.00pm at £50 per person for three course brunch with bottomless Bloody Marys and Bellinis and also £55 for three course brunch with bottomless Champagne.
