New Year is defo a highlight in our foodie calendar and there’s one place that nails it time and time again. You guessed it, Hakkasan. This year the 9 dish menu is inspired by the ‘Wishing Tree’ in Hong Kong, one dessert is served hanging from a tree, one dessert is served looking like a tree and diners also get to write wishes on ribbons that are tied to the wooden slats like wishing trees.

The 9 course menu starts with a selection of small eats; the classic/never fails to impress Dim Sum platter, crunchy soft shell crab with red chili and curry leaf and the new addition of spicy lamb lupin wraps which are four small, punchy parcels of meat.

The 5 main courses include the SUPER soft grilled Chilean Seabass in honey, tender stir-fry black pepper rib eye beef with merlot and the Abalone and dry scallop fried rice. Or, if you fancy going A la carte there are a number of other new dishes too and even a special cocktail for the occasion.

The menu is running for the rest of February, so if you’re looking for somewhere to celebrate CNY then Hakkasan is the one.
