better than hot chef Gizzi Erskine, who actually used to be a body piercer, to remix the W London’s Rock Tea? We went along to try out the remixed afternoon tea which is made up of items inspired by rock albums and songs.

The tea works in the same way as your usual arvo teas, you choose your brew and then the tier (in this case made from vinyl records plated in gold) arrives with a selection of sandwiches, freshly baked scones and mini-cakes. There’s a lot on offer and we managed to clear the decks, after which we couldn’t rock anymore only roll straight home…

Our favourite tracks were Wild Thing, a creamy salted caramel and popcorn éclair which was light and fluffy, Flipsville Cherry cola and yuzu tart which crackled and popped when bitten, Sticky Fingers meringue which looked like the infamous lips and the Cherry Bomb, a rich, thick chocolate, mascarpone & cherry dessert. Not forgetting the  Rule Britannia Currant scone of course which was still warm and moist.

This is one set of records we want on repeat please. Price at £25pp person the Gizzi edition is available until the end of June.
