be honest, gyms are not for everyone. Often crowded, a little sweaty and a little intimidating sometimes. So what is the alternative for those who want to be healthy, and build-up their strength and fitness? Newly launched Fitness Fox LDN may well have the answer. Founded and led by seasoned personal trainer Kelly Bedford, Fitness Fox is a new fitness programme offering group as well as bespoke dynamic strength training packages to women who want to be stronger, leaner and fitter. Busting the myth that endless hours of cardio is the answer to achieving the bodies that you want.

So how does it all work? Well, for starters the group sessions are held in Stoke Newington’s Clissold Park. There are no cliques, no pretentiousness and everyone is made to feel really welcome. The group sessions are for up to 10 people at a time, so you benefit from the extra attention and direction from Kelly, much like in a personal training session. During the hour work-out you can expect to be put through your paces with a series of strength training techniques, which help accelerate fat loss whilst toning and tightening your muscles. Think squats, lunges, planks, press ups, skipping and bear crawling…yes, THIS did happen.
