a new pop-up in West London and it goes by the name of FISHBone, located in the private dining room of the Kensington Place restaurant. But it’s anything but stuffy, the space has been transformed into a simple shack style joint with quirky decor, lighting and pop-up twists that make it feel all very hip.

There’s a short cocktail list, most of which come serve in metal beakers and contain at least one Sipsmith spirits – Go all out and opt for the Dirty Filthy Anchovy Martini, yes that does come with a little anchovy on a stick.

The food menu is short and sweet, fish takes on classic junk food dishes. We can recommend the Scallopdog, a juicy hotdog made from scallops, the crunchy crab bhajis, the creamy prawn pasty and the fishy Tuna burger with sesame, soy and radish…And then there’s the Salmon doner, yes a doner kebab made with salmon which is fresh and full of flavour. Probably the only time you’ll here a doner kebab described that way!


The pop-up is open until 29th March so get down and sea for yourself (sorry we couldn’t resist!)
