you ever been accused of having stars in your eyes? Well now you can, thanks to Coq D’Argent and their season of rooftop stargazing!

Throughout February and March, their winter terrace has a SKYLINER-200P in residence which according to those in the know about astronomy, is the mac daddy of telescopes. We can vouch for the fact that it is one powerful piece of machinery as we were able to spot Jupiter and four of its moons on the night we visited.

Whilst you stare up at the wonders of the universe, you can sip on some of the stargazing themed cocktails created especially for the occasion. We loved The Galaxies- a mix of Citadelle gin hard shaken with peaches, lime and orange juice, sage, ginger and cardamom syrup. Or if whisky is more of your bag, try the Starlight with aromatic bitters and a touch of Champagne.

The cosy terrace has plenty of blankets and food to keep warm you right up so if you’re looking for a romantic venue to take a date this one will rock-et. You never know, it might even end in a Big Bang.
