have a feeling port is going to be big this year and there really isn’t a better place to enjoy a tipple or two than the pop-up Churchill’s Port House in the heart of Soho. The cosy restaurant serves port and wines matched to tapas dishes, including port flights which feature a selection of 3 different ports – take ours and their advice and start with the white port.

From the food don’t miss the grilled spicy chorizo and the charcuterie board featuring a selection of Acorn-fed Iberico and Cecina Meats. The juicy pork belly with watermelon was perfectly cooked and filo-pastry baskets with Morcilla Iberica, Roasted Chestnuts and a Mango-chilli Sauce were crunchy parcels filled with flavour.

But lets face it, you really should never drink port without cheese and the artisan cheese board with Churchills Vintage 1997 red port was the perfect end to a faultless meal. We think we might just of found our new fav place in Soho.
