is a quick and tasty way to pick up a healthy take away. A stones throw away from Angel station Chilango offers the usual Mexican street food options; burritos, tacos and nachos. LondOnTheInside tried it on a Monday night right after close of play in the office and found the place occupied with enough people to warrant it ‘busy’. Most people seem to be eating on the go but if you want to sit and chew your food there’s plenty of space to do so.

We got fully pigged up with the Pork Burrito and the Pork Tacos. The Burrito went down a treat, stuffed with soft, tender pork, black beans, rice and salsa it’s is a meal in itself. The soft shell Tacos were a little disappointing mainly because we prefer the crispy tacos and we got the end of the pork in juices which made them a little soggy. To drink there are Mexican beers, frozen margaritas and soft drinks on offer, and refills are free (soft drinks anyway!). Although for £1.60 they bloody should be!

The staff know exactly what they are doing and before you can say hey presto, it’s ready to go. Chilango is ideal if say you’re going to the O2 Academy around the corner and you need to eat quick but you don’t want something too heavy or unhealthy.
