has had a lot of media interest lately after Paul Merton’s mention on Have I Got News For You. They even have their own appreciation society on facebook. The takeaway is just at the bottom of our road so we thought we’d try it.

We arrived on a Saturday night, a little tipsy to say the least and ordered a couple of Chicken Shish kebabs and chips. Whilst we waited for the Chicken to cook we chatted to the friendly staff. They are very pleased with their new found fame, and said CHICKPIZZ has never been so busy.

The chicken shish kebabs were good and rather cheap, we got the small ones and they came in at under £4. The chips were freshly fried and hot, like most takeaway chips. We’d say it was better than your average takeaway as everything was cooked to order. Will we go back? Probably, the bus stop is right outside and it just happens to be where we get off at the night bus.
