Eastern food pop-up Ceru has a new temporary home on Cannon Street showcasing their vibrant, healthy and colourful dishes from breakfast through to dinner. Think of food from Cyprus, Turkey, Lebanon and Israel…fresh, light, home cooked dishes that are meant for sharing. Got it? Well that’s what Ceru is all about. The show stoppers are the slow roast lamb shoulder with shawarma spices, pomegranate and mint and the spiced roasted cauliflower salad. We’re huge fans of cauliflower dishes no matter how trendy they now are/aren’t. Then there’s the collection of creamy dips served with freshly baked greek pitta bread.

Come breakfast time there’s wraps filled with spicy Merguez sausage, tomato and spinach or Halloumi, egg and spinach – a great alternative to a greasy bap. Go down, check it out and you’ll be chanting ‘Ceru, Ceru, Ceru is on fire’ in no time.
