Can you believe that Allen Road used to rival Church Street a mere twenty years ago in the running for coolest hangout in Stokie? Us neither! But Allen Road has be bouncing back recently, the Shakey, Yoga Home and Butterfield Green are all long term facilities in full swing and now a cool little café right in the middle of the street.
The place has a nice friendly atmosphere complete with a pet dog. As well as the usual coffee and tea’s they knock out muffins, sarnies and homemade breads which will have you salivating at the mouth. Café Bodega is becoming dangerously addictive, especially as we happen to live up the road.
We do have one grumble though, they don’t accept cards. Check out the notice board for inside info on the area and where to find your local babysitter.
