Asian BBQ restaurant Bo Drake is now open in Soho. The small, sexy joint serves classic Korean dishes with a Mexican twist, mostly made from British produce.

The dishes we sampled were all spot on, our faves of the bunch from the standard menu were the Brisket Bao with mustard barbecue sauce and pickled cucumber (perfect flavour combo of meaty, sweet and sour) and the the Bo ssam with smoked pulled pork, kimchi and Ssamjang. From the specials we were big fans of the Kimchi nachos and confit Berkshire pork belly, burnt orange soy, nori Boulanger, brown chanterelles & poblano jelly.

Bo Drake food

There’s some interesting veggie dishes on the menu, a decent selection of cocktails to wash it all down with – we digged the Cucu Sour – and food comes quick. If you’re after a fast dinner or lunch but want something a bit more spesh than a burger Bo Drake is the one.
