Spring in the air Soho does somehow create Mediterranean vibes…so with new seasons comes a whole new choice of restaurants and we were well impressed with a little Greek joint recently. 21 Bateman Street is a small cafe like restaurant located on…well…Bateman Street. They are rather proud of their souvlaki, which are cooked over a robata grill giving the meat smokey flavours.

The newly opened restaurant is the perfect place for an informal catch up or date night with the misses. The food is ideal for sharing and there’s plenty of options too. The salads are as fresh as the day, crunchy, moist and packed full of flavour.

We were big fans of the wild boar sausage, so damn tasty we for one are going back for them alone. The Souvlaki, is a pretty good option to ‘stick’ with and comes chicken, pork, lamb or veggie, served with fries and bread. The accompanied sauces have a tendency to invite you in for one more dip even when you’ve thrown in the towel.

This summer we’re going more Greek…sharing or no sharing. You can also pick up and take away and they will deliver. We could murder a wrap right now!
