comes to mind when you think of things Scandinavian that have had an impact over here; Cheap Mondays, The Ravonettes, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo? Well what about Rekorderlig? Rekorderlig is set to cause Scandimania with their Swedish Taste Tour this summer, hitting London locations at night aiming to change the post-pub kebab run forever…

The Rekorderlig food van will be bringing the taste of Sweden to London with two simple dishes, Meatballs with Beetroot and Apple salad and Pearl Barley Mushroom Risotto made with Rekorderlig Pear cider. Created by London based Swedish restaurant, Madsen the dishes will be handed out free and the first 100 people will also get a free bottle of cider . The dates confirmed so far are:

21st June: Soho, Golden Square 7pm – 10pm

23rd June: Clapham, High Street 7pm-10pm

27th June: Shoreditch, Curtain Road 7pm-10pm

29th June: Richmond, Whitaker Avenue 7pm-10pm

So remember when you’ve had one too many and you’re searching for the nearest kebab shop look out for the pink van above and you’ll be quids in!
