One of our favourite hangouts is Rough Trade East, this year they have the Modfather of rock, Mr Paul Weller is playing an in store show to close the day’s celebrations at 8pm. Weller is also releasing two special Record Store Day releases ‘Flame-Out!’ and ‘The Olde Original’. You’ve also got exciting new band The Strypes on at 4pm which will be a belta to see, definitely worth swinging by. More info on Rough Trade East’s activities here.
There is also a free event over at Berwick Street Soho where ‘The Golden Mile of Vinyl’ will be transformed into a mini festival. Liver performances, DJs in store, music quizzes, in-store parties and of course exclusive vinyl and CD releases.
