it might feel like you’re still recovering from this summer’s festivals but as any hardened music lover knows, it’s never too early to start thinking about digging out your tent for the next.

Leeds and Reading festivals have announced the first acts for their 2014 and it’s a good’un. The legendary Blink-182 will continue their love affair with the festival as headliners after playing three times previously. They will be joined by Jake Bugg, Disclosure, Metronomy, Of Mice & Men, Wilkinson and I Am Legion just to name a few. It’s enough to make us start working on our tent assembly skills in the living room.

With sold out crowds at both festivals last year, you’d be mad not to take advantage of the £50 deposit scheme and get your August bank holiday for next year sorted. Now can someone tell us what happened to all our spare tent pegs?
