say we didn’t warn you! Reading and Leeds festival have gone and added more acts to the already killer lineup, making the festival even more unmissable and us even more smug about the fact that we told you to get tickets months ago.

Men of the moment Arctic Monkeys have been newly announced as main stage headliners with a bunch of other brilliant bands including Courteneers, Warpaint and You Me at Six. And if the chance to see the rockers nominated for ‘Best British Band’ at the BRIT Awards and ‘Best Live Band’ at the NME awards isn’t enough to get you booking your tickets, SBTRKT, The 1975 and Annie Mac have also joined the lineup.

With the previously announced Blink-182, Jake Bugg, Disclosure and Metronomy all must-sees, you’re going to be too busy watching all the musical magic to send your friends the classic jealousy-inducing ‘BEST. WEEKEND. EVER’ texts.

So heed our advice now and get yourself a ticket. Or risk being on the receiving end of those texts. After all, nobody likes sour grapes.
