This summer, Notting Hill-based patisserie Le Choux is teaming up with pastry chef Ravneet Gill to serve up an exclusive range of pastries for one day only. On Sunday 13th August, Ravneet will work with the Le Choux team to bake some limited-edition pastries, cookies, summer fruit tartlets, cheesecake and, of course, choux. Expect the likes of triple chocolate, pecan & caramelised white chocolate and hazelnut & gianduja cookies; milk chocolate & cherry, mango & passion fruit and salted caramel fudge choux; and pistachio strawberry Paris-Brest. Plus, there’ll be some more surprises on the day.

Ravneet – who’s previously worked at St. JOHN, Llewelyn’s, Black Axe Mangal and Wild by Tart, has written two pastry books (The Pastry Chef’s Guide and Sugar, I Love You) and founded the hospitality community-building platform Countertalk – is one of the city’s premiere pastry professionals. Le Choux, launched by pastry chef Abigail Scheuer in 2020, specialises in fresh artisanal pastries made using locally and ethically sourced produce, with the tagline “We use sugar as an enhancer, but not as a main ingredient”.

Le Choux will open its doors at 11am on the day of the pop-up and it’s very likely that these one-off bakes to sell out – the pre-sale boxes already have – so make sure you get down there early if you wanna get your hands on some very special choux. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
