It’s hard to believe that Raf and Fred have been collaborating for such a long time. Now in their 9th collection, the Belgium designer has reworked the classic Perry pieces mixing the clean, slim silhouettes with eclectic pattern and colour.
The strong 29 piece collection plays with proportion and pattern. The classic polo and woven shirt have been reinterpreted with a Raf Simons sensibility, showing bold colour fusions of orange, white, Persian blue and pink. Each piece is an instant wardrobe update for Spring 2014.
The neat shapes are wrapped in checks, fade-out ginghams and tropical florals, with the iconic chessboard pattern running throughout the entire collection.
Shot by Willy Vanderperre and styled by Olivier Rizzo, the pair also featured a short visual to launch the Spring 2014 collection. The vibrant works of Simons and Perry are shown in an upbeat spirit which completely captures the brand.
