Street food faves Raclette Brothers have gone permanent with a new place called Alpes open in Pop Brixton. Inspired by the Alps region (duh!) the restaurant is the first in London to serve raclette on a traditional machine with waiters scraping a load of melty cheese goodness onto your plates right at your table. Fondue (with unlimited dipping items), cheese and charcuterie boards, rosti balls with sauerkraut, tartiflette, beef bourguignon with pomme souffle and apple & clementine strudel are among the other dishes on the menu. There’ll be plenty of wine to go with all that cheese, with Alpes also hosting regular wine tasting events.
