PUT A LITTLE VA VA VOOM IN YOUR CHRISTMAS WITH TASTE FRANCE

Spending Christmas across the Channel may not be possible this year but you can still bring a bit of French flair to your festivities right here in London, thanks to these French Christmas in a Box DIY kits from Taste France Magazine. There are three different three-course boxes for two to choose from:

~FISH~
Cured salmon with honey & mustard dressing, whole oven-baked sea bream with honey-glazed carrots, and profiteroles with chocolate sauce

~MEAT~
Pork rillettes, guinea fowl supreme with chestnut puree, and apple & almond galettes with creme fraiche

~VEGGIE~
Whole baked camembert, mushroom & carrot bourguignon with mash, and chocolate tart

As well as containing all the ingredients, each box comes with not one but two bottles of Loire Valley wines that have been specifically matched to each menu. The Loire Valley is known for producing one of the most diverse ranges of wines in the world –  we’re talking everything from sparkling rosé Crémant de Loire, dry whites like Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine and light reds like Chinon – so it’s the perfect region to look to when working with so many different dishes.

The kits also come with full recipe instructions – they’re so easy to pull together that you can have the whole feast done in an under an hour – but if you want someone to show you how it’s done, three foodie influencers will be hosting cook-alongs on Instagram Live. @AnnaBarnettCooks is going live on 16th December, @thekatiepix is on 17th December and @londonfoodboy is cooking on 20th December, with wine supremo Mike Knowlden joining the party to talk tasting notes and pairing tips.

The boxes are £40, including postage, and are available to order right now, with deliveries running Tues – Sat. The last date to order is 4pm on 20th December, so don’t hang about!
