The most unique dining spot you’ll find in London
Punk Royale has landed in London. The Nordic group of restaurants, already making waves in Oslo, Stockholm, and Copenhagen, has taken over the site of two doomed spots on Sackville Street and turned it into something fun out of a tough space. Phones are locked away, and the whole point of eating here is the surprises along the way – so, in the spirit of not ruining your fun, we’ll stay tight-lipped about most of the experience. Well…with a few spoilers.
The lights are full on disco and the music is BANGING, with one of the most eclectic playlists around, blasted out at proper clubbing volume – this is probably not a place for a first date tbh. The food is a rollercoaster of flavour bombs. No duds at all, though it does lean heavy on the rich sauces. But honestly, food is just one reason to visit. Go with an open mind and enjoy the ride.

It’s not cheap, but when you factor in 18 courses, plenty of booze, and a vibe you won’t find anywhere else in the city – and then stack it against other London tasting menus – suddenly it feels like pretty decent value for the sheer madness of it all. The critics and serious foodies will hate it, everyone will talk about it, and we have a feeling it’s gonna crush it.
Go get Punk’d and escape the bleak news cycle if only for 2.5 hours….
