A WILD SWIM AT THE ROYAL DOCKS IS BEING HELD FOR THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY

London’s first-ever Pride Swim is kicking off this September at the Royal Docks. The swim is the result of a collaboration between Out & Wild, Improper Agency, the LGBTQ+ Switchboard and other community partners and is designed to provide a new space “for the LGBTQ+ community to connect through shared experiences,” as Polly Shute, co-founder of the Out & Wild Festival and former Pride in London board member, puts it. The Pride Swim, which will welcome anyone who is a National Open Water Coaches Association (NOWCA) member, will begin with an open-water swim in the docks, followed by a non-alcoholic drinks and music reception where swimmers can come together as a community. Tickets start at £15 per person and are available now – grab yours below.
