The Standard is celebrating Pride with two big events on 30th June. First Jake Shears from the Scissor Sisters will be in conversation for TheirStories in the Library Lounge, discussing his childhood in Seattle, being on Broadway, working with Elton John and more, with Barbs rounding things off with a performance. From 10pm the same night, Bimini Bon Boulash and House of Trash will be hosting a Pride Aperitif party up at Sweeties, with music from Grace Sands, Hilit Kolet and Fidel. Both events are free to attend with the Pride Aperitif party requiring a £10 donation to Not A Phase on the door.
