The price of a pint in London is always a hot topic of conversation and this month, Oxfam is getting involved by opening a pub where the drinks prices are based on individual wealth. Open in Holborn for one day only, to coincide with the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Fair Pour will encourage customers to pay what they feel to be fair based on their net worth in an effort to highlight growing wealth disparity and how a fairer tax system would help tackle inequality.
A range of non-alcoholic beers, wines and mocktails, including the Old Money Fashioned and The Billionaire’s Breeze, will be on offer, plus there’ll be a pub quiz running where you can win a free round.
