Pretty Decent Beer Co Is Opening a New Taproom Right by Victoria Park

The east London brewers have got a new home in Bow Wharf

East London Liquor Company may have vacated its spot in Bow Wharf but the place hasn’t remained booze-less for long as Pretty Decent Beer Co (who already has sites in Walthamstow and Forest Gate) has set up a new taproom. There are 12 taps, including the largest selection of Czech-style side pour taps in the UK, pouring everything from IPAs to fruit sours to alcohol-free beers, plus sustainable and low intervention wines, cocktails, and even beer soft serve on offer.

The place officially opens on 4th December but the team is getting people through the doors early for a little housewarming, so you can head over for picklebacks, cheap pints, DJs, games on the foosball table and arcade machines, and Middle Eastern street food from Amba.

The street food offering will then rotate throughout December with Hanoi Ca Phe, Emerald Eats and Bask Street Boys all popping up to serve banh mi, spice bags and txistorra galettes. Come the new year, the team behind Mexican-Korean fusion joint Mexican Seoul will be setting up a permanent kitchen on site. Great grub, retro games and banging beer (with every pint, keg and can including a donation to charity), sounds like a pretty decent taproom to us.
