The Porridge Cafe pop up is coming to Shoreditch and we could do without Goldilocks spoiling it. Inspired by the Nordic revival (If you’ve ever been to Grod in Copenhagen you’ll know what we’re talking about), porridge is coming back as a staple part of the everyday diet and is brought to us by the people behind food catering company Bow Food. Featuring an impressive menu of 11 different grains with toppings such as persimmon compote, chia seeds, papaya, agave nectar along with your more traditional. On the milk front you’ve got coconut and almond milk bases as well as your standard dairy milks.

Not just a meal for breakie, The Porridge Cafe will cater for lunch too with savoury topping with a twist like red velvet beetroot spelt, feta and capers topped with a poached egg. Porridge just got sexy! Square Mile coffee will be available too. Stay out of town Goldilocks, you smashed baby bear’s chair you ANIMAL!
