loves a pork pie, right? Right. Well, the Princess Victoria pub, who knows a thing or two when it comes to quality, traditional dishes, will be hosting the ‘Princess Victoria Pie Off’ to celebrate British Pie Week and is asking for patrons from far and wide to join in. Here’s how…

Taking place next Monday 3 March, 20 chefs from pubs and restaurants from across the capital, including TV chef Andy Bates aka ‘The Pie Man’ are being challenged to rustle up their best take on the quintessential British ‘Pork Pie’.

Kicking off at 7pm, guests will be invited to enjoy tasting portions from the final dishes and cast their votes, all whilst enjoying complimentary craft beers from local brewers, Portobello Beer.

The final judging will be conducted by restaurant critics Joe Warwick and Tom Parker Bowles, also one of the pub’s loyal patrons, along with Christine Hayes, editor of leading food magazine, Olive, culminating with the crowning of ‘London’s Best Pork Pie’ at 9pm.
