If you’ve ever wondered how the likes of Kate and Wills spend there weekends then you might want to head down to the pop up British Hunting Cabin at the York & Albany. Overlooking Regents Park the cabin is decked out in full on tartans and tweeds….oh so very English. The walls are covered in animal skins and you’ll find antlers and stuffed animals for decoration, fresh from the hunt or maybe not.
There will be food by Kim Woodward and you can expect the likes of Duck rillette, Game Sausage rolls, Black pudding scotch eggs and Venison sausages. Kick back on the terrace and sip on a spiced boozy hot chocolate whilst you toast your own homemade marshmallows or get on the cocktails and have a try of the ‘Kentucky Winter Julep’ or the ‘Blueberry and Butter’ both served in a copper tin. There’s mulled wine, hot apple cider and live music on Tuesdays too. If this is the country life then one might just move there. Too-da-loo!
The hunter cabin isn’t just a way of making money either, it’s actually part of Gordon Ramsay’s Help The Hereos events which are raising money for the charity.
