Apoached egg bar is coming to Dalston. Are we off our eggs? No we’re not. A co-lab between Foxcroft & Ginger and Beyond Retro, the egg bar opens today in the Beyond Retro store on Stoke Newington Road. Dishes on offer are Eggs Benedict; Poached Eggs with Sweet Potato Scone, Chorizo and Chermoula Sauce; Poached Eggs with Herb Roasted Mushrooms, Béchamel, Truffle Oil, Nut Crumble, Parmesan on Sourdough Toast; and Poached Eggs with Smoked Haddock, Caramelised Cheese Sauce, Parmesan, on Sourdough.
Bang on trend the eggs are cooked ‘sous vide’ at exactly 63 degrees for an hour to achieve the perfect yolks. We’re not even yolking either. Get down and check it out soon…don’t break an egg.
