Funfairs are no longer just for summer, or for kids, because Fairgame is arriving at Canary Wharf this autumn with a whole load of fairground games that have been rebooted for grown-ups. The 20,000 sq ft arena will be decked out with all sorts of classic carnival games for you to test your skills and rack up points. You’ll be able to have a go at their version of whack-a-mole Gopher Broke, take aim in duck shooting game Phoeny Island, dunk basketballs in Alley Hoop, and much more. Plus, with their dedicated app and electronic wristbands, you can keep track of everyone’s scores and see which of your friends comes out on top.
Of course, no fairground is complete without food and there’ll be some crowd-pleasers on offer, with Burger&Beyond, Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana and Tacos Dos Mas to dishing up the goods. Drinks-wise, Fairgame’s Bumper Bars will serve up a range of cocktails, frozen margs and craft beers. And for bonus points, a Candy Stand will have everything from popcorn to prosecco candy floss so your sweet tooth won’t feel left out.
Fairgame is launching at the start of October so if your inner child has been dying to get out, you might wanna think about getting tickets.
