plant food pioneer to host dinner at essence cuisine

This National Vegetarian Week Essence Cuisine in Shoreditch will have a very special guest in London: Matthew Kenney, an LA-based celebrity chef who is known as a pioneer for high end vegan cooking. Matthew worked on the original menu and concept for Essence Cuisine with founder Bart Roman, and on Friday 18th May he will host a special one-off dinner at Essence Cuisine where guests will be able to try his dishes as well as talk to Matthew and ask questions.

The special Matthew Kenney menu will be available at Essence Cuisine from 14 – 20 May:

• Green gaspacho: Tomato water, gaspacho cream, avocado, radish sprouts.
• Carrot-giner kelp noodles: Grilled shiitakes, togarashi cucumbers, shaved carrots
• Hibiscus strawberry cheesecake: vanilla pistachio shortbread crust, lime curd, pistacchio.

Tickets are £35 and include a three course meal and welcome cocktail and are availabe here.

The first dinner on the 18th is now SOLD OUT but a new date has been added on the 19th.
