Another street food vendor goes from pop up to permanent this Thursday when Pizza Pilgrims opens the doors on its Dean Street restaurant. Serving up the usual ACE pizza’s including some of the street van favourites such as the classic Neapolitan Margherita, Portobello mushroom and smoked garlic oil and spicy Nduja sausage, along with some new additions.
There’s also an Italian drinks list with Aperol spritz and Prossecco on tap – yeee haaa. The pizzeria caters for diners to eat in with a small space in the basement as well as stools along the window on the ground floor. Cheap, cheerful and damn tasty.
You may notice the rather snazzy mosaics on the pizza oven which took 18 hours, 130 tiles, 25kg of grout to finish and caused two cuts and one blister. FACT. For a cheap, fast dinner in Soho add this bad boy to the top of the list.
