They may have just opened an immersive pizza restaurant in Victoria but that’s not slowing the Pizza Pilgrims team down as they’re now heading north to open up in Camden. As well as serving up all their classic Neapolitan pizzas, Pizza Pilgrims Camden will also be home to a Pizza Academy, which is designed to help people build a career in the hospitality industry.
Young people, part-time students, ex-offenders and formerly homeless people will be able to earn qualifications, take part in one-off courses and train in specific pizza skills in the restaurant’s ‘pizza theatre’. Graduates from the academy can then apply their new-found skills in the pizzeria, so by eating there you’ll be helping out all the new trainees – as if we really needed a reason to eat pizza.
