Mortimer House Kitchen isn’t letting lockdown get in the way of their guest chef series as the Pidgin team is flying in from Hackney and running a delivery service from the Fitzrovia restaurant for two months. The £25pp three-course Homing Pidgin menu will be changing weekly, kicking off with radicchio & fennel salad with stracciatella, braised pork belly with kimchi polenta cake & wilted barese, and Sangiovese poached quince with Arbequina olive oil custard & beremeal crumble.
If you wanna add on booze to make it a real feast, there are wines available from Modal Wines and cocktails from Black Lines. You can order the boxes one week ahead – the cut-off for Friday delivery is Tuesday at 5pm – and they’re doing delivery anywhere within the M25.
