There’s something wild and wonderful coming to Spitalfields Market this month. Glenmorangie is popping up in the area with a bright orange phone box and a giant giraffe in tow, and is asking Londoners to follow their curiosity and enter the technicolour world of It’s Kind of Delicious and Wonderful. The pop-up will turn the everyday into something exciting, and Londoners who choose to make a call will be offered a free unique cocktail as a reward.
Once you’re inside the orange phone box, decked out with florals from LADYGARDEN, you’ll speak to one of three wondrous virtuoso, including drag queens Jonbers Blonde (currently on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK), Ginger Johnson, and Mairie Houston, who’ll ask you a series of playful questions. It could be “do you dance like the star you are or like no one is watching?” or “is life a catwalk or is the cat-lady life for you?”. All you gotta do is give them your answers and you’ll receive a one-of-a-kind token that between 15th – 17th November you can swap for a complimentary Glenmorangie cocktail at East London bars Coupette, Cocktail Trading Company, Light Bar, Milroy’s, and Seed Library. For all guests visiting the booth between 18th – 19th November, you will receive your drink directly at the phone booth after calling the Wonder Hotline. But with limited samples available it’s first come first served!
As well as your cocktail token, you’ll also receive a mantra card featuring artwork from the iconic British photographer and international artist, Miles Aldridge, who’s responsible for Glenmorangie’s It’s Kind of Delicious and Wonderful campaign (you can also spot his work in a mural just up the road of Ebor Street).
Follow your curiosity a little further beyond the unique Wonder Hotline experience, and enjoy a Glenmorangie based cocktail at Taylor Taylor and Townhouse Nails salons with any treatments between Tues 15th – Thurs 17th November – a glow-up that Jonbers Blonde would approve of.
