Decimo chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias is celebrating the food of Oaxaca with a little help from Ixta Belfrage. The MEZCLA: Recipes to Excite author will be joining him in the kitchen at Decimo to cook up a collab four-course menu served with Mezcal Amarás in the restaurant’s private dining room. The menu includes a welcome mezcalita followed by crab tamale steamed in banana leaf; prawn chile relleno with habanero salsa roja; red mullet & yellow tomato aguachile with charred cascabel; warm plantain & sweet potato crisps; grilled chicken with a Oaxacan mole & corn tacos; and masa ice cream taco with caramelised tortilla, coffee & cacao cajeta.
As well as that Mexican feast, guests will also have the chance to try a brand new Mezcal Amarás product before it launches, so it’s defo one for mezcal lovers.
