of the funniest men that has graced this Earth would have turned 75 this year. Peter Cook, satirist, writer and comedian was one of the forces behind Beyond the Fringe alongside Jonathan Miller, Alan Bennett and of course Dudley Moore which kick started their career in comedy and help form the entire satire boom in the 60’s. To mark this occasion BFI are screening a series of sketches, skits and satirical shenanigans to showcases some of the works of a genius including The Rise and Rise of Michael Rimmer, Peter Cook: Oddities and Rarities, Peter Cook and Co and Beyond the Fringe and the epic Not Only But Also.
