week LondONtheInside went along to a special event hosted by Perrier water to celebrate the history of cocktails and if there’s one thing we like it’s cocktails!

The night started with spiced apple martinis (tres bien!) before we were taken on a tour through the 1900s with Dr Perrier himself, come to think of it he must have been pretty old!

After a brief encounter of the 70s the tour ended in the present where we were treated to a demonstration by mixologist Laurent Greco. Possibly our favourite part learning how to make frog spawn from cassis and powder – definitely a party trick we’ll be trying at home. We also picked up some tips on how to make cocktails using sparking perrier, always a bonus as it has far less calories than most mixers!

If you fancy making your own perrier cocktails check out for some inspiration!
