Need a new book to read? Penguin Classics has you covered with its first-ever pop-up book shop, opening in Shoreditch this month. To showcase the diversity of world literature, Happy Reading will display a single copy of each of the 1257 books in the Penguin Classics list, so you can browse and read from the range.
The space will also play host to a load of events and workshops including an East End literary tour, a Black Girls’ Book Club discussion, a panel on happiness with Refinery29 and a Mother’s Day candle making workshop with Literati & Light. The space itself is free but you’ll need tickets for the events, so snap ’em up.
