She’s giving away pieces from her personal collection for free
If you needed another reason to love Peggy Gou, this might be it. The global DJ, producer and all-round cultural force is bringing a one-day-only pop-up to East London this week – and she’s literally giving stuff away.
Taking place this Friday 26th June, GOU,TIQUE will see Peggy open the doors to a bespoke pop-up where fans can get their hands on items from her personal archive. We’re talking 200 mystery pieces from her own collection, alongside 100 items from past Peggy Gou merch drops, all gifted completely free of charge to lucky visitors.
The event lands alongside the release of her latest single “Wo,man” featuring Ayra Starr on XL Recordings. A euphoric, summer-ready anthem centred around independence and shared joy, the track marks the start of a new era for Peggy and continues her run as one of the most influential names in global dance music right now.
As well as the giveaways, the space will be soundtracked by DJs from her Gudu Records roster, with bespoke drinks also in the mix, so expect more than just a queue-and-go situation.
GOU,TIQUE will be taking over Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes on Kingsland Road from 4pm – 9pm, and entry is strictly first come, first served. So if you want a shot at picking up a piece of Peggy Gou history, get down there early.
