night we went along to the Tsingtao Legacy of Taste competition at The Courthouse Doubletree. The annual competition sees 500 nominated Chinese restaurants battle it out to become the best Chinese restaurant in the UK. The event was hosted by celebrity chef, Ching He Huang, and included a private screening of the four finalist restaurants – Sweet Mandarin in Manchester, Pearl Liang in Paddington, Gourmet Garden in Hendon and Chop Chop in Edinburgh.

The winner was our very own Pearl Liang in Paddington. We’d like to say a big congratulations and we hope to come along and try you soon!
