Not only does London have one of the best restaurant scenes in the world these days, but we also get to try the food of loads of other great chefs from around the world who regularly rock up for special events.

We already bought you news of Magnus Ek from Stockholm’s Oaxen Krog coming to Aquavit and now it looks as though Nancy Silverton is hopping over from LA to Passo in Old Street for a residency from March 26th to 30th. She’s not exactly a household name over here but fans of Chef’s Table on Netflix will surely recognise her and know that she is a big deal over in America.

Nancy opened the LaBrea Bakery in LA back in 1989 which gave birth to entire movement of artisan bakers around the world, and she also has three restaurants in the city; Chi Spacca, Osteria Mozza and Pizzeria Mozza. The residency at Passo will draw from all of these, featuring Nancy’s most iconic dishes in a seven course tasting menu for £48 per person. We’re talking orecchiette with sausage and Swiss chard, her famous chopped salad, and porcini-rubbed beef short rib. This is going to be one hot ticket so grab yours now.
