PARADISE TO OPEN IN SOHO

Italian-American Spuntino is out and Sri Lankan Paradise is in. Founded by Dom Fernando and inspired by his childhood trips to Sri Lanka, Paradise has been out on the supper club circuit earlier in the year and now it’s ready for a permanent home. Charith Priyadarshana is heading up the kitchen, where he’s using both British and Sri Lankan ingredients to create dishes like hoppers and kothu roti, mutton rolls with curry powder, slow-roasted pork cheek curry, aubergine moju, and jackfruit biryani.

On the drinks front, wines from biodynamic and organic growers will sit alongside like the Arrack-O-Lada (coconut cream, arrack, burnt jackfruit and pineapple syrup) and the Tamarind Chilli Martini).
