The Breakfast Club

Pancakes are a big deal at The Breakfast Club so, of course, they’re marking the occasion with a major collab. TBC has teamed up with none other than Tony’s Chocolonely to create three specials which will be available from Shrove Tuesday until the end of the month. Each dish has been inspired by one of Tony’s famous chocolate bars: The Chocolate & Bacon Bananaganza (inspired by Tony’s Milk Chocolate Salted Caramel bar), The Phantom Raspberry Blower Of Old London Town (inspired by Tony’s Strawberry Cheesecake & White Raspberry Chocolate Popping Candy bar) and The Kids Mini Pancake Platter (which features popping candy as well). Plus, TBC will be bringing back their Pancake Challenge £20 (only on Tues 13th February), which invited diners to attempt to eat 12 pancakes in 12 minutes and if they manage it, it’s free. If not, they’re encouraged to donate £20 to support their local community get-togethers and all participants will receive a limited edition Tony’s x TBC Chocolonely bar.

The dish centres around a buttermilk pancake, which is served with rhubarb and custard before being topped with a sprinkle of ginger crumble. You can get your hands on the special at breakfast as of Sat 10th February, but on the big day itself, you’ll be able to have it for dessert at lunch and dinner too.

With its weekday breakfast menu and weekend brunch menu, you could get fluffy pancakes at The Beaumont’s Colony Grill Room every day if you wanted to. But, since Shrove Tuesday is a special occasion, they’ll be introducing some limited-time dishes that’ll be available for one day only. While they’ll keep the classics (maple & bacon and sour cream & cherries) at breakfast, The Colony Grill Room will also be serving up CFC pancakes (Colony Fried Chicken) with maple syrup and Crêpes Suzette, with Grand Marnier flambée and Papua New Guinea vanilla ice cream, at lunch and dinner.
